Southfield Welcome Center, South Weymouth, MA

TMD Designs was involved in the early stages of planning for Southfield, an emerging new community that is one of the premier master planned initiatives in the country.  Located on the 1,400 acre landmark South Weymouth Naval Air Base it will provide a new twist on the classic New England town with a sense of community.  In addition to the residential neighborhoods, Southfield will provide commercial, retail and recreational opportunities.  The primary design goal for the interiors of the Welcome Center was to evoke a fresh and modern take on traditional New England aesthetics.  The barn like structure and vivid color palette provides a very warm and welcoming environment for potential developers and residents alike.
